Dave Elmer came to the agency after graduating from the University of Wyoming in business administration in 1993. In 1994 Dave went to Commercial Union's home office in Boston, Massachusetts for extensive training in Commercial Insurance. He was one of only 125 students accepted for that special training.

In addition, Dave obtained his CIC designation in 2000. With the successful completion of over 100 classroom hours of formal insurance training, CICs are recognized among the best and most knowledgeable insurance practitioners in the nation. The Certified Insurance Counselor designation signifies that Dave has obtained the highest level of competency provided in the insurance industry.

Because of the intense training Dave has received through the CIC program, he has the greatest degree of knowledge to ask the right questions and provide the right answers, saving you time and money.

Rob Zotti, a native of Rock Springs, joined our agency in March 1998. He graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1989. Rob then received his A.A. in Business from Western Wyoming Community College and attended the University of Wyoming where he studied Business Administration. Prior to his employment with Bob Elmer Insurance Rob has over 10 years business experience working in the retail industry.

In 2000 Rob obtained his CIC designation. This designation is a mark of distinction and represents a strong professional commitment in the insurance industry. The training required to become a CIC consists of 100 classroom hours and the successful completion of 5 comprehensive written exams. With this designation Rob has gained valuable knowledge in personal lines as well as commercial property, commercial casualty and agency management. This training enables Rob to provide his clients the best coverage and service available at the best price.

In 2004 Robert started the Certified Risk Management Program, CRM, with the successful completion of The Principles of Risk Management Course held in Kansas City, MO. Four more advanced courses covering all aspects of Risk Management must be completed in order for Rob to attain his CRM designation. Currently there are less than 1,000 registered CRM’s in the United States.

In 2004 Rob was elected to the position of City Councilman for Rock Springs Wyoming. He is also serving a five year term as board member of the Sweetwater Events Complex. Rob served on the board of the local American Cancer Society and as a committee member for the Cancer Society’s Relay for Life from 1999 to 2005. Other civic groups that Rob has been involved with include Kiwanis and Jaycees.

Wendy Elmer, a Rock Springs native, graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in accounting in 1993 and joined us in that same year. Wendy has furthered her insurance knowledge by attending Commercial Union's Personal Lines School for Agents in Boston, Massachusetts. She has also attained her CIC designation. Wendy recently attended an advanced insurance seminar focusing specifically on Contractors and Contract Bonding.

Wendy is involved in our agency administration and commercial customer service. She is always available to assist commercial clients with bonding, certificates, policy changes, renewals and commercial questions.

Charlene Pflieger started in the insurance business in 1989. She worked with Bob Elmer previously and joined the Bob Elmer Insurance Group, Inc. in 1992. Charlene is a Rock Springs native who has excelled in the business. Her friendly, knowledgeable handling of clients makes her a great asset to the agency.

Charlene continues to attend higher level personal insurance courses. She also does a fine job of coordinating the claims activity for the agency to make sure our customers get the best service during difficult times.

Jayna Hodge graduated from Western Wyoming Community College with an Associates degree in 2002 and joined the Bob Elmer Insurance Group, Inc. in February of 2003. Jayna's past job experiences have given her valuable training in the field of Customer Service. Jayna has recently attended The National Alliance's Personal Lines Institute to further her insurance education.

Jayna currently works as a Personal Lines Agent. She is eager to assist with any of your personal insurance needs.

Michelle Melvin is a long time resident of the Green River. She joined Bob Elmer Insurance Group in the Summer of 2005. Prior to joining the Bob Elmer Insurance team, Michelle had a number of years of business experience. She has valuable knowledge to help her clients with their everyday needs.

With her prior business background, Michelle is an asset to our clients. She is available to help with any insurance needs and customer service.
